Liz started her career in the vet industry working part-time at the Prices Highway Veterinary Hospital for 2 years and then full time for another 13 years.  Whilst working at the hospital, Liz complete her Certificate in Animal Nursing, Certificate of Applied Science (Animal Technician) and Certificate in Dog Grooming, Nutrition and Wildlife care.  She left her position as head nurse to complete her family and raise her two sons with her husband, Graham.

Liz joined the team at Eureka Veterinary Group in June 2002 and has numerous years of expertise in the field of animal care and nursing. She refreshed her knowledge by doing an RPL in Certificate 4 Vet Nursing and then in 2013 completed her Diploma of Veterinary Nursing (General Practice). As Senior Vet Nurse she is a mentor for all the nurses and functions in all areas of the hospital, but particularly enjoys assisting with surgery.

As she lives on a small property on the outskirts of town Liz enjoys the diversity of Australian wildlife that resides on and nearby her home. When not working Liz enjoys walking the dogs and drawing, but most of all; time spent with her family and friends especially her feather/fur/wool friends.
