Hospitalisation

Hospitalisation - Eureka Veterinary Hospital Ballarat

We want you to know your pets are in good hands at our clinic and that we can provide you and your pet with the special care they require.  This means that in many cases such as surgical procedures, medical treatment for illness or just spending the day with us so we can undertake diagnostic procedures, your pet will need to be admitted in to our hospital.

To help try and reduce the stress on your pet whilst in hospital, we do have separate cat and dog wards with various sized cages, heating facilities, intravenous fluid pumps and lots of soft bedding.

Although our clinic is not staffed overnight, should they require it, the vet in charge of your pet’s care will arrange for a vet visit to check on your pet.

For critical cases that do require around the clock care and attention, we recommend referral to a veterinary emergency centre which will be able to provide the care around the clock.
